## Monitored Values in History FilesThe following are descriptions of all of the possible outputs contained in the NSU3D history files:
" NCYC" Cycle number (iterations or subiteration for time-dependent runs) based on the current run alone. " NCYC_TOTAL"Cycle number (iterations or subiteration for time-dependent runs) based on all previous restart runs. " NSTEP"Time step number based on the current run alone. " NSTEP_TOTAL"Time step number based on all restart runs. " ICYC"Current counter for loop executed in NSU3D (can be either time step loop, or subiteration loop) " TIME"Current time value (number of time steps multiplied by time step size) for this run (initialized to 0.0 at beginning of current run). " TIME_TOTAL"Total time value including all restart time values. " CPUTIME"Current cpu time consumed by this run. " CPUTIME_TOTAL"Cumulative cpu time consumed by this run and all previous restart runs. " DELTA_RHO"RMS Density delta (corrections or changes) generated at this iteration. " HRMS"RMS value of H-H0 where H0 is freestream enthalpy. For enthalpy preserving scheme this should go to zero. However, for RANS cases this does not vanish. " DELTA_TURB1"RMS Turbulence delta (corrections or changes) for first turbulence equation generated at this iteration. Measure of convergence of first turbulence equation. " DELTA_TURB2"RMS Turbulence delta (corrections or changes) for second turbulence equation generated at this iteration. Measure of convergence of second turbulence equation. " NSUPERSONIC_PTS"Number of supersonic points in flow field " MAX_DELTA_RHO"Maximum value of DELTA_RHO in flow field. " XMAX_DELTA_RHO"X-coordinate location of MAX_DELTA_RHO in flow field. " YMAX_DELTA_RHO"Y-coordinate location of MAX_DELTA_RHO in flow field. " ZMAX_DELTA_RHO"Z-coordinate location of MAX_DELTA_RHO in flow field.
